When the World Tries to Silence You: Keep Speaking Truth
Share
There’s a weariness that comes from trying to shine light in a world that would rather stay asleep.
This week, my account was threatened again.
One notice for “offensive content.”
Another for “copyright violation”—both false.
No clarity. No chance to appeal. Just vague warnings and broken links.
And while I’ve grown used to walking upstream, this one hit differently.
Because I’m not sharing hate.
I’m not attacking.
I’m simply talking about Jesus, about healing, about setting boundaries from emotional abuse—and for that, I’m flagged?
This is what spiritual resistance looks like in a digital age.
The Gospel has always been offensive to those who cling to control, to self and to darkness.
The truth has always made people uncomfortable.
And healing—real, soul-level healing—will always be a threat to the systems built on silence.
But we are not called to bow to algorithms.
We are not called to shrink to survive.
We are called to stand.
To speak.
To post.
To share the truth, even if it costs us reach, followers, or comfort.
Because somewhere, a woman is scrolling through her phone, wondering if what she’s living through is abuse… or her fault… and feeling the weight of that confusion in every part of her life.
Wondering if God sees her.
Wondering if she’s allowed to say no one, to create boundaries or even walk away.
And your voice—your obedience—might be the light she needs.
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned…”
—2 Corinthians 4:8–9
So I’ll keep going.
I’ll write.
I’ll post.
I’ll shout truth from the mountain top into every shadow that tries to shut me down.
Because the message is not mine—it’s His.
And they cannot cancel the King of Kings.
